As an extension of the PLC Sydney family, Sydney Swim PLC Club has been developed on the strong foundations already in place at the College. This Club is an area of the co-curricular programme that is open to the broader community for swimmers of all abilities both male and female.
The Club was established in May 2006 to ensure that the brand new brilliant facilities are utilised. It is also an opportunity to continue with the College’s vision of excellence providing opportunities, challenges and the necessary support structures to enable our swimmers to achieve their dreams either representing their country, state, school or striving for own personal achievement.
Under the guidance of Karen Stephenson (Moras), our staff, are professionally excellent and relevant, responding to the needs of varied abilities. They are dynamic, proactive and responsive to change. Through their teaching and coaching skills they demonstrate their caring respect for all swimmers under their guidance.
Sydney Swim will continue to encourage club spirit through the strong traditions of the College where all swimmers will feel valued and supported. All swimmers will be enticed to push their boundaries whilst nurturing the development of individual strengths.
