Sydney Swim PLC swimmer Zoe Johnson put her name and her club up in lights with her great performances at the Australian Swimming Championships. Up against the best senior swimmers in Australia for the first time, she qualified for the finals of the 100m and 200m Butterfly, where she posted best times.
In the 100m Butterfly final, Johnson’s time of 59.88 was enough to give her sixth place. In the 200m final, her time of 2:13:40s also gave her sixth place. It was a phenomenal effort from the 16-year old student at PLC Croydon.
It was a thrill to see Zoe on TV wearing the striking red colour scheme of Sydney Swim PLC as she lined up for th finals alongside the likes of Jessica Schipper and Libby Lenton.
