Metro results 2007

Our regular top performers Kailah Elliott, Ian Sarno and Ciaran Morgan, led the way with multiple medals at the recent Metropolitan Championships.  Paul Sindone and Caitlin Merrett gained bronze medals and our up and coming youngest team member at the Championships ‘Young Bullet Nicole Chen’ also gained a bronze.

Well done to all our swimmers at these Championships.  I’m very pleased with the overall team performance of 13th place.  This is such an excellent result for a very small and developing Club WELL DONE!

Thanks must go to Chris, who did a great job in preparing the junior swimmers to compete at their best.  Also thank you to Karen Stephenson and Julia Dangar for their support.  Most importantly thank you to the parents who are responsible for our swimmers’ nutrition, sleep and taxi services!

Both Chris and I are looking forward to the upcoming State Championships in January 2007.

There will be some good work at training over the next few weeks.
